The Sweetest Early Spring Pastel Wedding
This March wedding was one of most delightful weddings to flower (yes, βflowerβ as a verb)βand for such a special couple. The bride is Stephanie's daughter's dance teacher! With a color palette of soft pastels and a vision to celebrate the beauty of spring, this coupleβs big day was filled with romance, joy, and elegance, beautifully captured by Bethany and Zack Photography.
(P.S. Weβre firm believers in βbetter late than neverβ, so here we are posting about this wedding way on the late side.)
The couple wanted their March wedding to fully embrace the season, so we filled their day with beautiful spring blooms. Think delicate ranunculus and cheerful tulips, all in soft, romantic hues, alongside elegant roses, delphinium, and more. We sourced several of the flowers locally, making the arrangements not only stunning but also seasonal and specific to the area.
The Ceremony
Their ceremony took place on the picturesque grounds of Bogey Hills, overlooking a waterfall on the golf course. To create an ethereal, garden-like atmosphere, we designed a large horseshoe-shaped ground installation filled with colorful blooms. It anchored the couple beautifully, while lush flowers lined the aisle, making it seem as if they were exchanging vows in a magical English garden. Not to mention, the bridesmaidsβ champagne-colored dresses paired beautifully with the soft floral palette, and the whole day was a perfect nod to spring.
Despite a bit of wind during the setup, we anchored everything down, and the ceremony florals held up perfectly. (Those outdoor spring weddings can be a wildcard!)
The Reception
At the reception, we went all out with three distinct styles of centerpieces to keep things visually interesting. Some tables featured lush arrangements in footed gold vessels, while others were designed to sit flush with the table, as if mini gardens were growing right from the surface. To add a warm, romantic glow, we incorporated clusters of pillar candles surrounded by greenery, which perfectly complemented the springtime theme.
The sweetheart table was flanked by large, colorful floral ground arrangements, making it a focal point in the room. The wedding party tables on either side were adorned with blooms that added to the romantic, whimsical atmosphere.
A Magical First Dance
What made this wedding even more special was the couple themselves. Sweet and joyful, their personalities shone through every detail of the day. The couple shared an absolutely magical first dance, surrounded by flowers and candlelight, which made for an unforgettable wedding day moment.
It was a joy to be part of such a romantic and happy celebration, and weβre so grateful to have played a role in bringing this amazing couple's vision to life.
