A Classic Green and White Wedding at Greenhouse Two Rivers

White weddings are an incredibly classic aesthetic. BUT they certainly don’t have to all look the same. Instead of leaves being the only green element paired alongside the white flowers, let’s add in a bunch of green hydrangea and bell’s of Ireland, for a fresh take on a white and green wedding with some Mediterranean vibes and lots of romantic movement.

This wedding was beautifully captured by Chris Killingsworth Photography.

The Ceremony

The ceremony took place at the stunning ceremony building at Greenhouse Two Rivers, which is basically like stepping foot into a west coast chic venue in the middle of Missouri. The couple wanted elegant white and green florals with plenty of movement and whimsy. We created and expansive ground floral arrangement with several elements, including large urn arrangements, florals on the floor, and florals in textured, earthy vases as well. This floral installation paired perfectly with the surrounding Greenhouse decor, and created a stunning anchor for the vow exchange. The florals continued down the aisle as well for a super chic walk to the groom.

The Reception

Up at the main building, the celebration took place. The guest tables were set up in long family-style rows with alternating linear floral arrangements and clusters of bud vases featuring green and white flowers. The variety in centerpiece styles added so much texture and movement to the tables, and tons of romantic candles really brought everything together and set the stage for a beautiful, cozy night.

At the head table, the ceremony installation got a second life. We placed all of the florals in front of the head table and removed the urns so everything sat flush with the ground, and made for a stunning focal piece at the head of the reception space. Green grapes added an additional texture and bit of green to the florals atop the tables.

All in all, this wedding aesthetic was a modern twist on an incredibly classic wedding style, and we couldn’t love it more. Courtney Jean Weddings really outdid herself with the design on this one!
